| We knew that our first web site didn't
really hit the spot! Many of our customers are increasingly IT literate,
so we decided to upgrade to broadband to allow the sending and receiving
of large files by Internet, and to completely revisit our web site.
Our new web site is based very much on visual content and uses around
300 high quality images as a small sample of the breadth of our work.
This does mean it will be a little slow on dial up connections but we
hope you will enjoy it in its full glory on broadband. You may well
recognise some of the images that we have used and we hope you are as
delighted with them as we are.
They are all anonymous in order to protect your privacy! We would value
and welcome your feedback on the website. You will find a response form
here. |
Our client had a book storage crisis in
their home office. Our solution was to design and make an Oak bookcase
that also gave them access to a store room. The "door" is opened by
pushing an antiquarian book which operates a spring loaded
self-retracting lock, all designed and built specially for the project.

Simpson & Brown Architects asked us to refurbish the
existing woodwork within the Baptistry and create, to their designs, a
new door and carved fretwork panel above to replace a sub-standard
1950's scheme. Salvaged Pitch Pine beams were sourced to ensure an
excellent stock match. The new carved panels are a faithful reproduction
but are double sided, sandwiching a glass panel to allow daylight but to
avoid draughts.
The end result is a magnificent restoration of the wood to a standard
suitable for such a world class historical building, |
